Racing Class and United States Auto Club (USAC) Mini Indy Oval Racing Class..
Now it is run in the SCCA B/Modified solo II (Auto Cross). Powered by a 1.7 Liter type IV Volkswagon air cooled engine. Dual Del Lorto 36mm two barrel down draft carberators. Chassis is an Aluminum Monocoque using the engine as a stressed member. Fiberglass upper body and nose. Built by the same company that builds the LoLa chassis for the Championship Auto Racing Treams (CART) open wheel series. The Super Vee series was the early beginning of the careers for drivers like Michael Andretti, Al Unser Jr., Bobby Rahal & others. |
